Founder's Message
The story of The Early Learning Institute is a story of purpose, faith, and divine timing, a journey that began long before we understood the full picture of God's plan.
In 2016, Mr. Ty, nationally known as The Childcare Whisperer, moved to Atlanta, Georgia, to continue his calling in early childhood education. He began his career at Carol’s Daughter Learning Center, where he served as a Private Pre-K Teacher, Assistant Director, and ultimately Director when a second location was opened. His passion for shaping young minds was undeniable, but Mr. Ty felt a deep calling to explore the corporate side of early learning, which led him to KinderCare Education as an Assistant Director.
During his time in corporate education, Mr. Ty honed his leadership skills, gained valuable systems knowledge, and perfected his operational strategies. These skills allowed him to drive remarkable transformations at private centers, including doubling enrollment at one location. Yet, despite his success, he wasn’t fully appreciated for his gifts, and he was eventually let go, a pivotal moment that he now sees as God positioning him for something greater.
Returning to the private sector as a Director, Mr. Ty leveraged his corporate experience to continue making a profound impact on the centers he led. He later joined Crème de la Crème, where his passion for early childhood education was reignited, and his talents were truly valued. However, even in this season of fulfillment, Mr. Ty sensed God calling him to something even bigger.
In 2020, amidst the global pandemic, Mr. Ty took a bold leap of faith. He launched the Childcare Whisperer brand and resigned from Crème to fully embrace his calling. With a heart full of trust, he promised God:
"If You bless this business, I will never stop telling the world that it was truly a God thing."
And God kept His promise.
For the next five years, Mr. Ty traveled across the world, empowering A-Players and A-leaders in early childhood education with his signature blend of heart, excellence, and transformative strategies. His influence reached across the nation, culminating in a feature on the Kelly Clarkson Show in 2024, where millions witnessed his passion for education and his belief in the power of a child’s potential. In 2025, God brought the journey full circle. The very center where Mr. Ty began his career in Atlanta, Carol’s Daughter Learning Center, closed its doors and became available for lease. After years of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering faith, Mr. Ty returned not as an employee but as an owner. He purchased the building and transformed it into what it was always meant to become: The Early Learning Institute, a place where excellence, faith, leadership, and love shape the next generation.
Today, The Early Learning Institute is more than just a school; it is a movement. It is a ministry. It is a home for A-learners, A-parents, and A-players who are ready to experience early learning at its highest level.
This is only the beginning.
